Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Dark Blue Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Relax : Sleep & Meditation mobile application (“App”) on iOS devices.
By using Relax : Sleep & Meditation, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Overview
Relax : Sleep & Meditation is a wellness app that provides guided breathing exercises, meditation music, custom ambience mixing, sleep-focused relaxation features, and related settings. The App is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require you to create an account to use the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information stored on your device
Most data used by Relax : Sleep & Meditation stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. This may include:
- Breathing pattern and session preferences (inhale, hold, exhale, session duration)
- App settings (default presets, default music, breathing sounds on/off, notification preference)
- Favorite music tracks and favorite editor-choice ambience items
- Custom ambience presets you create (names, selected tracks, volume levels)
- Downloaded meditation music files stored in the App’s local cache
- Playback-related preferences (for example, sleep timer and session playback state)
This information is stored using iOS local storage mechanisms such as UserDefaults and the App’s on-device file storage.
2.2 Information collected when you contact us
If you email us or contact us through supported channels (such as WhatsApp), we may receive information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message content, and any attachments. We use this information only to respond to your request and provide support.
2.3 Automatically collected technical information
When you download music or other content from our content servers, standard network information may be processed, such as your IP address, device type, operating system version, request time, and the file requested. This is necessary to deliver content and maintain service reliability.
We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking SDKs in Relax : Sleep & Meditation.
2.4 Information we do not collect
The App does not require or collect:
- Account registration details (no sign-in required)
- Precise location data
- Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data
- HealthKit or clinical health records
- Payment card details (the App does not currently offer in-app purchases)
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate App features (breathing sessions, music playback, ambience mixing, sleep timer)
- Remember your preferences and favorites on your device
- Download and cache meditation audio content for offline playback
- Send local notifications if you enable them in Settings
- Respond to support requests and improve the App
- Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and prevent abuse of our services
4. Notifications
Relax : Sleep & Meditation may ask for permission to send notifications. Notifications are optional and controlled in the App’s Settings and in iOS system settings. If permission is denied, the App continues to work without notifications.
5. Background Audio
The App supports background audio playback so meditation music and ambience can continue while you use other apps or lock your screen. This uses iOS background audio capability and does not involve uploading your audio activity to our servers.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these limited cases:

bibledata.reelstori.com). - Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
- With your direction: When you use iOS share features to share the App with others.
7. Data Retention
- On-device data: Retained until you change settings, remove favorites, delete custom ambience, clear downloaded music, or uninstall the App.
- Support communications: Retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Server logs: Retained for a limited period for security and operations, then deleted or anonymized where practicable.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.
9. Children’s Privacy
Relax : Sleep & Meditation is intended for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. International Users
If you access the App from outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the App, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:
- Access to personal information we hold about you
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of personal information
- Restriction or objection to certain processing
- Data portability (where applicable)
- Withdrawal of consent (where processing is based on consent)
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may request access to or deletion of personal information we maintain about you by contacting us below.
EEA/UK residents (GDPR): Our legal bases may include performance of a contract (providing the App), legitimate interests (support and security), and consent (such as notifications where required).
Because most App data is stored locally on your device, you can delete much of it directly in the App (for example, clear downloaded music) or by uninstalling Relax : Sleep & Meditation.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The App may open third-party services when you choose to use them, such as the Apple App Store, WhatsApp, or your email app. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of Relax : Sleep & Meditation after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
